The American Urology & Gynecology Society (AUGSociety) successfully held its first Middle East training event, the Penile Prosthesis & Peyronie’s Disease Management Training, on November 22-23, 2024, at Quttainah Specialized Hospital, Dubai.
The two-day training program, led by internationally recognized experts Prof. David Ralph and Prof. Carlo Bettocchi, focused on advanced techniques and approaches in urological procedures. Participants from across the region and internationally attended the event, which featured semi-live surgical demonstrations and interactive discussions. The course was accredited by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and awarded 14 CPD credits, further enhancing its value to attendees.
This training also marked the official recognition of Quttainah Specialized Hospital as AUGSociety’s training center in the Middle East, a significant step in expanding the society’s global educational initiatives.
AUGSociety continues to advance medical education worldwide, with plans for more training programs and collaborations in the near future.
